A World Design Capital Balloon

This year we are celebrating the World Design Capital year in Helsinki and there are lots of happenings going on all year round.
This balloon was honoring it at Senaatintori during the Design Weekend in early February.

Hot Air Balloon

These balloons depart and land quite often right next to my home. This one was landing last night. Right before sunset...

It's Balloon Time!

We are celebrating Vappu, Walpurgis Night and May day, in Finland this weekend and it is carnival time... People celebrate, enjoy life and have picnics in the parks. Lots of balloons, serpentine, sparkling wine, happy people... And hopefully sunshine!! It's great!!
Happy Vappu to everybody!
