Empty Stadium
The Olympic Stadium in Helsinki was covered with snow... and there would be a traditional (the second time now...) outdoors hockey game, Talviklassikko, in a few days. The game is between HIFK and Jokerit, which are the two local hockey teams in Helsinki.
Well it was possible to visit the stadium before the game. It had been cleared off snow pretty much at that time but still some work to do... And stlll empty...
The game was played with a full crowd in the stadium but in quite a freezing weather...I was not there but it was told that the atmosphere was awesome! And HIFK won...

The Super Bowl will be played outside, in New Jersey, in a couple years. THAT will be interesting. It's usually in a warm-weather site or in a domed stadium.

In Moscov the stadium was also empty. Three Dutch male skaters won gold, silver and bronze for the world championship. One of the Dutch female skaters won gold for the world championship. The world is not interested, more is the pity. I wish you a great start in the next week!
