Lempipaikkani

Merenranta on kyllä ehdottomasti yksi lempipaikoistani ja erityisesti kesällä, joka on lempivuodenaikani... mutta kyllä kaikkina muinakin vuodenaikoina ranta vetää puoleensa... siinä vain on sitä jotakin...

A World Design Capital Balloon

This year we are celebrating the World Design Capital year in Helsinki and there are lots of happenings going on all year round.

Exhibition Reflections

We had a presidential election this year in Finland. Which was pretty exciting and good and on the last (second) round there were two very good candidates. Our new president Sauli Niinistö's term will start next week, 1st of March.

During the second round there was an exhibition in Sanomatalo of the first round of all eight candidates and their campaigns. There were great pics and here some of them nicely reflect on a wall of glass.

Freezing Frozen Frost

This was one of those stormy days in January ... freezing cold, windy and snowstorm... One of those days that you would rather be somewhere else, somewhere where is warm and sunny! Well... survived that.. barely.. and many other snowy and freezing days again this winter. Hopefully not many more coming up anymore! Maybe next winter I will be somewhere "south" and sunny... A dream that will hopefully come true..??

Reippaita poikia Snowboardaili tänään Töölönlahden kalliolla, ihan siinä Finlandia-talon vieressä... mitäs sitä suotta kauemmas lähtemään... kun loistavia paikkoja löytyy ihan ytimestä! Aita toimi mainiosti reilinä. Jos minä tuosta mitään ymmärrän...

Tällä pääsen melkein kotiovelle... silloin harvoin kun bussilla ajelen... en kuitenkaan jaksanut mennä räntäsateessa ulos väijymään itse bussia... ja valitsin helpoimman ja kuivemman reitin...
